Use this for a paid merchant SameDay delivery that is still before custody. The refund amount can differ from the original charge because a confirmed additional tier charge may be included and a pickup-now fare may be retained if the sender's pickup authorization was verified before cancellation.
Open and review the delivery
- Sign in to your Merchant account and open Deliveries, then open the tracking list.
- Find the exact SameDay package and tap Cancel delivery in its row when that action is available.
- On Review delivery cancellation, check the package reference, base delivery charge, any confirmed additional tier charge, pickup service retained if shown, and the refund transfer amount.
The refund amount is the confirmed base charge plus any confirmed additional tier payment, minus a pickup-now fare if the sender's pickup authorization was verified before cancellation. The amount is due to your Business wallet; cancellation does not itself send the money.
Confirm and check the result
- If the package and amounts are correct, tap Confirm cancellation.
- The receipt says Delivery cancelled and shows the approved refund amount, Paid so far, and Remaining. Cancellation and refund payment have separate statuses.
- Reopen this receipt from the delivery if you need to check the latest payment status. A request or an approved amount alone does not mean the refund has been transferred.
If the page blocks cancellation
- If an additional tier payment is awaiting confirmation, open the linked tier payment and resolve its status first. The delivery cannot be cancelled while that payment might still complete.
- If the current delivery facts changed or the review expired, open the current delivery and review it again. Do not rely on an older amount.
- If pickup or custody has started, the before-custody cancellation is unavailable. Follow the package's current status and use a recovery option only if one is shown for its location.
