Delivery terms

General terms for using Moveka in Kenya.

Published 09 Sep 2026

Using the service

These general terms explain how to use Moveka’s website and delivery services. The service conditions, price and declarations shown when you confirm a booking also apply to that booking. Read them before you pay. Mandatory rights under Kenyan law remain unaffected.

Accurate booking details

The sender is responsible for accurate package descriptions, sender and recipient contact details, delivery information and safe packaging. Provide the recipient’s information only when you are entitled to do so and explain that it will be used to arrange delivery. Do not send prohibited goods or exceed the selected service limits.

Prices and payment

The quote and currency shown before confirmation apply to the proposed booking. Additional work or a changed route may require a new quote and agreement. All supported payments are digital. Where payment is required for handover, confirmation from the financial provider is required before release.

Handoff and delivery

Follow the confirmed pickup, drop-off and collection instructions. The sender and recipient must be available as required and provide the applicable handover evidence. Tracking and arrival times reflect available operational information; estimates may change with traffic, access, weather or other delivery conditions.

Changes, cancellations and returns

Use the supported booking journey or contact support to request a change or cancellation. Availability, fees, refunds and return arrangements depend on the booking stage and the applicable service conditions. Do not assume a cancellation, refund or new delivery is complete until it is confirmed. This website does not create an automatic entitlement to an unsupported return or compensation workflow.

Loss, damage or a delivery problem

Report a problem promptly with the package reference, a description and relevant evidence. Preserve packaging and available delivery evidence. Moveka will review the facts under the applicable booking terms and Kenyan law. No blanket exclusion here limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, and no fixed compensation cap is created by this general page.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep account credentials and verification codes private. Do not misuse tracking, attempt unauthorised access, submit misleading bookings, interfere with the service or use it for unlawful activity. Public reference tracking provides limited shipment information and does not authorise changes to a booking.

Complaints and applicable law

Raise service complaints through the published Moveka support contacts. Include enough information to investigate without unnecessary sensitive data. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Nothing here removes access to applicable consumer remedies, regulators or courts of competent jurisdiction.

Updates

The published version may be updated as services develop. Revised general terms do not retrospectively replace the terms already agreed for a confirmed booking unless a lawful, agreed change applies.
