What should you compare before sending a parcel?
- Urgency: Compare the stated timeframe and conditions for each option. A service name alone doesn’t tell you when a parcel will arrive.
- Destination and delivery method: Review the options shown for your parcel and check how delivery is arranged for the recipient.
- Handoff: Check whether collection or drop-off applies and what you need ready when the parcel is handed over.
- Tracking and confirmation: Find out what updates you can expect and what counts as delivery confirmation.
- Parcel requirements: Have the contents, weight and dimensions ready. Check whether the item and packaging meet the option’s requirements.
- Loss or damage: Review the provider’s terms for loss, damage and claims before you choose.
How do you prepare a parcel to help prevent damage?
Use packaging suited to the item, cushion empty space and seal the parcel securely. Label it clearly, describe the contents accurately and check that the item is accepted. Keep a record of what you are sending and follow the selected option’s packing instructions.
What address details should you check before sending?
Confirm the recipient’s full name and phone number, then provide a precise address. Include the estate, building or nearby landmark where relevant, along with directions that help identify the right entrance. Check the details with the recipient before handover.
What should you check at parcel handover?
Have the parcel securely packed, clearly labelled and ready for the agreed handoff. Keep your booking record or tracking details so you can refer to them if you need help. If the parcel appears damaged when received, raise it at handover and follow the provider’s process.
How do Moveka Express and Same-Day fit into your choice?
