Sending a parcel on Nucleur’s Nairobi–Maralal corridor
Nucleur publishes a parcel corridor, handover steps and station contacts. Its current pages list two different Nyahururu parcel numbers, so this guide shows both without choosing between them.
Nucleur Investments describes station-to-station parcel service between Nairobi, Nyahururu, Rumuruti and Maralal, with points along the corridor. Its published list includes Nairobi, Uthiru, Gilgil, Captain, Ol Kalou, Kasuku, Ol Jororok, Nyahururu, Rumuruti, Posta, Suguta, Kisima and Maralal. Nucleur says traffic differs by point, so confirm the exact handover and receiving stations before travelling.[1]

What to prepare at handover
Nucleur’s parcel page describes a process that starts with presenting the parcel and sharing the sender’s and receiver’s names and phone numbers. Staff confirm the charge and issue a receipt and waybill before the parcel is assigned to a vehicle. The page says the receiver is notified by SMS, and that staff verify the receiver’s name and identification before release. Keep the receipt and waybill so you can refer to the shipment if you need to ask about it.[1]
The operator does not publish a parcel rate card on the reviewed page. Ask for the current charge for your item and exact station pair before handing it over. Nucleur says arrival depends on when the parcel is sent, its size, and route and vehicle availability; it does not publish a guaranteed delivery time.[1]
Call the parcel contact for your station
Nucleur’s contact page lists a parcel number for Nairobi / Nyamakima (0746 734 622), Nyahururu (0116 040 030), Rumuruti (0706 171 825) and Maralal (0724 179 096). It separately lists passenger and lorry numbers at some stations; use the parcel-labeled number for parcel questions.[2]
There is a discrepancy for Nyahururu: the Nucleur contact page lists 0116 040 030, while its station directory lists 0748 986 673 as the Nyahururu parcel contact. Both are published on Nucleur’s site. The reviewed pages do not explain which number is current, so this guide does not choose between them. If you need to reach Nyahururu, try both published numbers or call another listed parcel office and ask it to confirm the current contact.[2][3]
Before you set out, confirm the exact station location and opening arrangements for your service. The directory gives Nairobi / Nyamakima station hours as 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Monday to Sunday, but the parcel page says operational availability can depend on route and vehicle conditions. Do not treat general station hours as a parcel dispatch cutoff.[2][4]
Ask about the item and collection plan
The parcel page says fragile items may travel at the sender’s risk and directs bulky household goods and relocation loads mainly to a lorry service, subject to vehicle space and availability. Describe the item before going to a station, especially if it is fragile, bulky or time-sensitive. Confirm acceptance, packaging, charge, dispatch expectations, and what the recipient will need to collect it.[1]
This guide reports Nucleur’s own published corridor and parcel process, checked on 26 October 2026. A listed corridor point does not establish a specific timetable or guarantee that every vehicle stops there. Confirm current arrangements with the operator before handover.[1]
