Sending a parcel with 2NK: start with the right office number

2NK publishes parcel locations and distinct sending and receiving contacts for Nairobi, Nyeri and Nakuru. Check the exact station pair, charge and handover before making the trip.

2NK’s parcel page names service locations across Kenya and publishes parcel-office phone numbers. For a shipment involving Nyeri or Nakuru, the most useful detail is that 2NK lists separate sending and receiving offices in both towns, as well as separate sending and receiving numbers in Nairobi. Call the office that matches your role before travelling with a parcel.[1]

What the operator publishes

Named parcel locations
The parcel page names locations including Nairobi, Nyeri, Nakuru, Karatina, Thika, Mombasa, Embu and other towns. A listed location does not establish a direct lane or timetable. [1]
Nairobi parcel office numbers
Receiving: 0706 235 260. Sending: 0742 054 504. These roles are reproduced as labeled by 2NK. [1]
Nyeri parcel office numbers
Sending: 0711 361 639. Receiving: 0702 069 141. These roles are reproduced as labeled by 2NK. [1]
Nakuru parcel office numbers
Receiving: 0706 235 263. Sending: 0748 936 988. These roles are reproduced as labeled by 2NK. [1]
Parcel tariffs, cutoff and route schedule

If you are sending from Nairobi

2NK lists 0706 235 260 for the Nairobi receiving office and 0742 054 504 for the Nairobi sending office. The page does not explain whether “receiving” means receiving parcels from senders, collecting incoming parcels, or both; it is safer to ask the office to confirm its role for your shipment before setting out.[1]

When you call, give the exact destination, what the parcel contains, its approximate size and weight, and when you hope to send it. Ask whether 2NK accepts that item for that origin and destination, which Nairobi counter should take it, and the current charge. The public page gives no parcel tariff, cutoff time, acceptance list or dispatch schedule, so do not estimate the parcel cost from a passenger fare.[1]

If Nyeri or Nakuru is involved

2NK publishes 0711 361 639 for the Nyeri sending office and 0702 069 141 for the Nyeri receiving office. For Nakuru, it lists 0748 936 988 for sending and 0706 235 263 for receiving. Those distinctions can help you reach a relevant office, but they do not by themselves confirm that a particular parcel is accepted between Nairobi and either town, or that it will move on a particular departure. Ask both ends to confirm the same shipment details and expected collection arrangement.[1]

Before dispatch, settle four practical points with the operator: the exact counter that accepts your parcel, the current total price, the dispatch or arrival expectation for your intended date, and how the recipient will know where and when to collect it. Ask what identification or shipment reference the recipient should bring. These are questions to confirm; the published parcel page does not specify the answers.[1]

A wider location list is not a direct-route promise

The parcel page names Nairobi, Nyeri, Nakuru, Karatina, Thika, Mombasa, Nanyuki, Ruiru (Kihunguro), Embu and many other towns. It also publishes numbers for several additional offices, including Karatina, Thika, Mombasa, Nanyuki, Ruiru, Embu and Kenol. A town appearing on a parcel-location list is useful evidence that 2NK names it as a parcel-service location. It is not proof of a direct connection, same-day movement, a specific counter address, or availability on your chosen day. Confirm the exact origin and destination before handing over the parcel.[1]

The page gives 0711 374 310 and 0792 657 999 for the Nyeri head office, alongside info@2nksacco.co.ke. It does not identify these as parcel dispatch lines, so the parcel-office numbers are the more direct starting point for a shipment question.[1]

This guide reports what 2NK currently publishes on its parcel page, checked on 26 October 2026. Prices, cutoffs, item restrictions and route-specific parcel availability were not published there. Confirm them with 2NK before you travel or promise a delivery date.
